Where are you located?

Telluride Storage is in the Ilium Industrial Park, just 6 miles from downtown Telluride. We are the only climate-controlled self storage within 60 miles of Telluride. Conveniently located for those who live in Telluride, Mountain Village, and Placerville. We are located less than 40 miles from Ridgway and less than 60 miles from Montrose. Telluride Storage is also a fantastic business solution for companies commuting to the area from Norwood, Ridgeway, Montrose, and Grand Junction. Our address is 650 S Park Road, Telluride, CO 81435.

How much does self storage cost?

Our units are priced in three tiers: bronze, silver, and gold. Gold units are the very best on-site, with the most convenient location to elevators and the main entrance. Bronze units are our best prices, with the same climate control and security.

Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

What is the best way to pack a unit?

Larger and more infrequently used items should go in the back of the unit. Remember to keep a walkway in the center of your unit to more easily access items. Always keep items labeled and a list of items stored, even a photo on the outside of each box will allow you to "see" what's inside.

How long is the lease?

All of our rentals are month-to-month leases. Click here to view our units.

When can I move in?

We prorate to any day of the month. You can move in anytime during access hours (6am-10pm) as long as your lease is completed, payment is processed, and the required documents have been provided to Telluride Storage. This process can be completed online or in our office!

When can I move out?

You can move out as soon as you complete the 30-day intent to vacate form we provide. This process can be initiated via your Pay Bill log-in or by giving us a call at (970)728-1815.

Is a lock required?

Yes, per the lease agreement, a lock is required at all times. You may purchase a lock from our office or you are welcome to provide your own.

What is a DaVinci Lock and why did I receive a code?

DaVinci locks are on all of Telluride Storage's vacant units and allow you to rent outside of office hours. If you rented a new unit and received a code, please use that code to unlock your unit, and return the DaVinci lock to the lockbox in the lobby/main entrance. 

You will be required to provide your own lock upon move-in. Locks are also for sale in the Telluride Storage office.

Do you offer package receiving services?
When can I access my unit?

You may access your unit any day, 6 AM to 10 PM, using your keypad access code at the main entrance.

Can I install shelves in my unit?

You may install shelves as long as there is no hardware attached or drilling of materials into the unit.
